How to Get There:
Event Directions:If coming from Vancouver, make arrangements via phone with trip leader prior to day of trip.

- This is a SNOW JAM event and preference will be given to those who are staying the weekend at the Coquihalla Lakes Lodge.

- This is an intermediate trip: meaning that you don't have to have advanced ski technique or be fabulously fit. But you do need to have your systems worked out, be reasonably quick with your transitions, and generally be able to take care of yourself. Depending on conditions, this trip could be an trivial three hour walk in the park or a finish-with-headlamps proposition. Know that and be prepared.

- Snowshoes and splitboards are discouraged, but potentially allowed pending approval from trip leader.

- Please email the trip leader and give some indication of past relevant experience and/ or training/ skills. (This is not meant to scare anyone away, just to give a sense of what skills and skill-levels are on the trip.)

- Though no one signing up for this trip needs to feel they would be comfortable running it, the vision for the trip is a cohort of engaged peers, so please take some time before trip to familiarize yourself with the proposed route: consider challenges, imagine interesting extensions, etc. And bring map and/or other navigational-aids.

- As with all ACC trips, but more so than many moderate trips, conditions and or beta received closer to trip date could result in revised itinerary.

- Though registration through website closes Thursday at 5pm, you may still join the trip after that time if you contact trip leader directly.

- The 5-person max group size is very flexible, depending on skill levels of participants.

- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our Etiquette Guidelines!
Note: If you don't show up we will be very hurt!
