Itinerary:
Dec 11th 8:15 AM to 12:00 noon will be theory material in classroom located at base of Mt. Seymour. The remainder of day (to 4 PM) will be practical material on Mt. Seymour; Dec 12th 8 AM to 4 PM will practical material on Mt. Seymour. NOTE: COST DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR BACKCOUNTRY SKI PASS.

Required Items to Bring:
IMPORTANT: You are required to supply your own Transceiver, Shovel, Probe, and touring skis/skins. If you are relying on MEC to rent this gear be certain to have a back-up plan for your gear as MEC may not be yet providing rental option as depends on whether there is an early snow pack. Alternatively, contact the Canada West Mountain School at (604) 878-7007 and speak to Linda about transceiver, probe and shovel rental of $28.
Recommended Items to Bring:

Pen and paper for classroom material. For the practical material we will be ski touring and applying the material from classroom (i.e. reading terrain, route finding, digging pits etc). Hence, ski touring attire, food, and water.

Notes:
You will be required to purchase a backcountry ski pass each day.
- Registration is not complete until you've signed up and, if required, paid in full to the Alpine Club of Canada Vancouver Section, either through PayPal, or sent to the Event Leader.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Cost Includes:Cost being $160+HST=$179.20 (does not include AVI gear or backcountry pass).
