Attendee Screening: Attendees are Pre-Screened - Trip Leader will review your background and may contact you before accepting you on the trip.

Itinerary:
Will review and practice rigging various alpine rescue hauling systems. 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 5:1, 6:1 Will apply different mechanisms such as ratchet prusiks, reverso belay device, Ropeman or Tiblock.

Required Items to Bring:
Basic alpine gear set It is best to bring a used and already retired 8mm rope (static better) for this practice. Rappel gloves

Notes:

NOTE

  • This is not a course - you must have minimum alpine experience and prior formal training.
  • Be sure to check SPAM folder for important messages regarding this event.

Prerequisites
Formal mountaineering training (a course)

IMPORTANT: You must pass minimum screening requirements above. The trip organizer will use your ACC profile to check courses you have taken and peaks you have climbed. You can also provide additional information in this form (click here): Alpine Experience
