This is a special offer to ACC members for "Applied Mountain Meteorology for Canadian Professionals and Outdoor Enthusiasts", Level 1 taught by professional meteorologist Uwe Gramann, who also teaches Canadian Avalanche Forecasters and B.C. Fire Weather Forecasters. Students will receive a certificate upon completion. It is equivalent to the weather course requirement under the new WorksafeBC regulations for the Industry Training Program of the Canadian Avalanche Association. To get more info or to register, see: I took this course last year and found it to be good value. Uwe packs a lot of information into 2 days, and has tailored it for outdoor and mountain enthusiasts.
