Itinerary:
Meeting at the Gate (Grind Entrance) off Grouse Mountain Parking Lot in North Vancouver. Hike: A steep, quiet, (with a short hands-on-rock scrambly bit and..... weather permitting beautiful viewpoint) trail to Grouse chalet, located between the Grind and the BCMC Trails. Elevation Gain: 853 m Ascent time between 70 - 90 min. Include time for Coffee & snacks @ Grouse nest if interested. Gondola down. ($10 if you don't have an annual pass)

Recommended Items to Bring:

Good shoes, water, snack, warm clothes - change of clothes for afterwards. Weather forecast is for light rain. If so inclined, bring your own coffee or tea & snacks & time for visit @ Grouse Nest.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Highway #1 (Trans-Canada) to North Vancouver, taking exit #14 for Capilano Road North. Follow Capilano Road to it's northern end, at the base of the Grouse Mountain Skyride. Both pay parking as well as free parking along Capilano Road is available. The 232 and 236 busses operate to the Grouse Mountain parking lot daily. For bus schedules and information, visit the Translink website.
