Notes:
Due to the poor weather forecast on Friday this trip has been postponed by a day and will now go from Saturday to Monday. Due to the Gran Fondo, this means an alpine start from Vancouver on Saturday morning :-( Statimcets is described in Matt Gunn’s scrambles guidebook as Downton Creek Peak 8700. This trip is suitable for people who want a moderately paced trip and are comfortable with scrambling. The trip will only go if the weather forecast is good. Please be aware that we’ve never been into this area before, so what we find may not exactly match the route description.
