36km Rountrip 1780m Elevation gain Saturday, hike in from Cheakamus Lake which is a much nicer hike than the Garibaldi lake trail. Hike past Helm creek campground and set up camp somewhere on or around Gentian Pass. Superb views all around. Sunday, wake up early and hike/scramble Castle Towers. Hike out same day.

Required Items to Bring:
Hiking boots, overnight camping gear, food for 2 days, extra layers
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Helmet, hiking poles, sunscreen, chocolate, alcohol, pancakes, gummy bears, Twister

The trip is rated as easy so beginners are welcome. The only difficulty is the length of the hike and cumulative elevation gain. So good fitness is recommended.
