This is a last minute trip to Mount Baker, Coleman Glacier route. We got a sunny long weekend ahead, can't afford to waste something like that! Trip details still need to be confirmed. So far we are a group of 3 beginners who completed the ACC Intro to Mountaineering course this year, and we are looking for other members with some Mountaineering experience, preferably Intermediate to Advanced. The plan is to leave Vancouver on Saturday morning and be back by Sunday night. We will select participants and size of group based on the number of experienced members and gear available. Leaving time is flexible and might be moved to later / Saturday once details of the trip are coordinated with all participants. If you are an Intermediate/Advanced mountaineer please get in touch and we can coordinate details together. We will cover your travel costs! Beginners with some previous experience will also be welcome depending on size of group.

Required Items to Bring:
Everything required for roped glacier traveled (helmet, harness, crampons, boots, ice axe, prusiks, slings, carabiners, etc.).

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $62.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Saturday, October 19, 2019). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.
