Itinerary:
This course is intended for climbers who have already completed a rock rescue course (or have demonstrated experience/competency) but would like to refresh their skills. This is the perfect opportunity to brush off the rust, and get ready for the upcoming summer climbing season! This course is offered exclusively to ACC members by Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures (www.mountainskillsacademy.com). It is a professional course taught by an ACMG certified guide. MSAA is offering a special price just for ACC members of $69 + GST (regular price for non-members $165 + GST). To register for this course, simply sign up here and you will receive an email with further instructions and a direct link to MSAA's website where you can securely complete your payment.

Required Items to Bring:
Your usual climbing clothing, food and drink for the day, and extra clothing to be prepared for any weather (this course is NOT weather- dependent) Be sure to bring your typical rock climbing setup (rock shoes, harness, helmet, and belay device). Your guide will supply all group gear including ropes.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
We also encourage you to bring your own rescue gear if you have it - it's always best to practice on your own gear! Things like locking and non-locking carabiners, gri-gris, quickdraws, cordalette, hollow blocks, anchor materials can be useful if that's what you would normally have with you.
