Attendee Screening: Attendees are Pre-Screened - Trip Leader will review your background and may contact you before accepting you on the trip.

Meet at St Davids Church in West Vancouver (Taylor Way) at 6:30am.
Drive up to Whistler to the Rainbow Lake Trail and work our way up Mt Sproatt to the Alpine. Ski some laps in the alpine before heading back to the cars. Plan to return to the cars by dark.
It has been 10 years since we last went to Mt. Sproatt; please do your research and be prepared to participate in route finding and decision making.
Decisions on the days objective will be made based on current avalanche and snow conditions. If the avalanche forecast is high or extreme, the trip will be cancelled.
We will need another driver as our vehicle only carries 3 comfortably.
AST 1 or equivalent training will be required to attend. Please put in notes what level of Avalanche Training you have received.

Required Items to Bring:
Beacon, Shovel, Probe,Backcountry Skis or Splitboard, headlamp, 10 essentials.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $60.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Saturday, October 19, 2019). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.
