Itinerary:

Backcountry Skiing - Zoa Pk

This one will be a little bit more of a beginner friendly trip (read: epic guaranteed) for ski touring in the Whistler Blackcomb Backcountry. This is contingent on if Whistler will be opening the Symphony Express chairlift or not.

If you are new to ski touring, or have a new kit, or want an easier first backcountry skiing trip of the season then this one is for you. All ability levels are welcome and we will likely try to ski open bowls and glades. Please have a moderate level of fitness and feel comfortable skiing Blue runs on Whistler, on and off resort.

Note that there is a $60 backcountry lift pass you must pay for at guest services, you must present your backcountry safety gear to them and sign a waiver.

Required Items to Bring:
Avalanche Gear, Ski Touring Setup or Splitboard (no tele), Spare Layers, Food, Water, headlamp, whisky
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

Notes:
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
