Itinerary:
Drive to Golden BC on Fri, March 10th, helicopter in to cabin on Sat morning. Self-Guided Ski trips based out of Fairy Meadows Bill Putnam hut for 7 days, then helicopter out on Sat. March 18th & drive back to Vancouver.

Required Items to Bring:
AT or Telemark skis, Beacon, shovel, probes, glacier gear, compass, (GPS if available), maps. Avalanche AST 1 or equivalent is required and previous glacier experience recommended.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:7-8 hour drive from Vancouver to Golden, B.C. Heli-pad is just north of Golden, B.C. and is 2WD accessible.

Notes:
MAX 18 People plus cook - for Powder Paradise Come and enjoy this winter ski camp in a fantastic mountain setting - spectacular scenery and abundant ski touring and mountaineering opportunities. This catered and self-guided camp will feature 7 nights at the Bill Putnam (Fairy Meadows) hut, with wood-burning sauna. (See the ACC website.) Leave Vancouver Fri March 10, 2017 by car and spend Friday night in Golden BC. Meet in Golden area at 8 AM on Sat morning to helicopter in to the lodge. Objectives will depend upon the weather, snow-stability and experience and capabilities of participants. This area is renowned for great back-country skiing! Previous experience skiing blue and some black runs &/or backcountry skiing highly recommended. Some Glacier experience is recommended but not necessarily required.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Cost Includes:Cost (about $1600 CAD) includes helicopter, cabin and a cook with catered food at the lodge. Does NOT include food or lodging costs for Fri, March 10th. A deposit of $500 is required to confirm your spot. - IMPORTANT - Do NOT send any payment until confirmation by trip-leader!

Note: If you don't show up we will be very hurt!
*Note: A $500 deposit will be required to secure your spot with the balance due November 1, 2016. Cancellations cannot be reimbursed unless a qualified substitute is found.
