We will meet in the overnight parking lot, and proceed to go up Blackcomb. Once the alpine opens, we will go up the Glacier Chair and t bar on Blackcomb and access the back country via a good ski slope. We will set up camp near Pattison and ski the interesting slopes around camp. Next day we will ski around Mac Beth and Naden and camp on Naden. The third day we will get up early and ski out on the regular Whirlwind Fissile Col. Things can change we can discuss camp sites and interesting slopes to ski as a group.

Required Items to Bring:
camping gear and food for 3 hard days. Light weight mountaineering harness, crevasse rescue gear and a 30 m rope per group of 3. Summit pack with enough space for avi gear, food and water and a warm layer.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
good winter gear and solid tent. Sun protection colthing and cream. Easy to eat food like gels and chock blocks.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:gts

Notes:
AST 1 or higher required, Glacier travel experience necessary. Skiers only, able to ski 45 to 50 ' slopes. Please practice on Whistler, we will organize a few steeps skiing days throughout the season. Note I favour a 50/50 ratio of males to females in my trips and I also want to focus on being a group. Connecting and socializing interest is required. I also would prefer to take people who have not yet come with me on the Spearhead, to offer a chance to people left out last year.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
