Itinerary:
We will meet at St. David's church in the morning at 8:30 and head up to the Smoke Bluffs together for a day of novice-friendly climbing. This will be a good opportunity for those that have climbed in a gym before or just started climbing outside to give the Smoke Bluffs a try and get oriented to the area. For those with their own rack, they are welcome to lead their own climbs, but for others, we will set up a few top ropes so everyone can participate. Participants will be required to have the skills necessary to belay and climb on top rope. These skills will not be taught at this event. Skills in taking down top rope anchors and rappelling are not required, but useful if you have them. Please plan to bring your food and water for the day. There are bathrooms at the location. We will spend the day climbing and aim to depart Squamish between 4 and 4:30 depending on how the group is feeling.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $37.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Monday, November 12, 2018). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.
