Come join us for a day of digging in the dirt on the Howe Sound Crest Trail! This event was a huge success in the fall, and we're going back for more. The mission for the day is to do maintenance work on the southern portion of the trail, which has relatively easy access from the Cypress Hill Ski Area. Each person will get a tool - a shovel, a pulaski, or a hoe - and we hike in a short distance to access the most popular sections of the trail. We'll mainly be digging ditches and culverts to route water off the trail. It's physical and dirty work, but fun and definitely rewarding. It's a bit like being a kid in a sandbox all over again! BC Parks needs the volunteer power to help keep our trails in the Sea-to-Sky in good order, and the effort by the ACC Vancouver section to stay involved is hugely appreciated. Sign up early so that we can get an idea of numbers and plan accordingly. Details TBD closer to the date. Get in touch if you have any questions!
