|In 2014, Sandy Allan and his team set out to climb what was then regarded as the ‘last great climb’ of the Himalaya—the giant Mazeno Ridge on Nanga Parbat, the world’s ninth highest mountain. The ascent took 18 days, the last four of which were endured without food and water. Come listen to Sandy describe his epic journey to the top and find out what’s next for this storied climber.

Sandy's presentation is just a few days away and we hope you're looking forward to it! If you're planning on driving/parking at Langara on Tuesday nights we have a few tips from our "location scout" Mack Skinner:
The A Building is the main building located near the corner of W49th and Manitoba Street. There is free parking on the south side of 49th as well as west of Cambie and north of 49th if you're up for a short hike! |
