Drive to Allison Pass, skin up Fat Dog Trail to Three Brothers Mountain, and back down again.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Skis, poles, skins, boots
  • Beacon, shovel, probe
  • Warm clothing, rain jacket/pants
  • Water, snack/lunch food
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen
  • Headlamp

How to Get There:

  • Drive east to Hope
  • Go south on Highway 3 to Allison Pass
  • Keep going a little further (about 1-2 km) till you see a big parking lot on the left. Turn in there. There should be a sign for Fat Dog Trail
