Garabaldi Neve Traverse

I am hoping with all this snow in the alpine will keep garibaldi lake frozen and the crevasses filled until the weekend of April 23rd. If not we will use this weekend to do something else. At this point I donít know if we will go up on the Friday morning/afternoon or plan to have the Monday to ski out. This will depend on the group work schedule. This will be a ski traverse from diamond head to rubble creek with two nights camping and probably a summit of mt Garabaldi assuming the weather cooperates and all goes to plan.

If enough people want to do this trip we can have two groups and do a key swap mid way.

Please note that I am a trip organizer and not a guide. Everyone is expected to be fully self sufficient and have the necessary maps equipment and knowledge to make this route on their own.

This route involves crossing the Neve Glacier so everyone must be experiences in all the necessary rope work for glacier travel

This route also traverses serious avalanche terrain so training in avalanche rescue is required as well

If I have never skied with you before, please indicate some recent trips as well as the name of the trip organizer so I can validate you have the correct ability for this trip

I will not be looking at the attendee list until the start of April so if I donít respond to you before then please be patient.

To ensure you have read this full trip report, please indicate that you have read this trip report in the notes line when signing up.
