Attendee Screening: Attendees are Pre-Screened - Trip Leader will review your background and may contact you before accepting you on the trip.

This catered and self-guided camp will feature 7 nights at the Powder Creek Lodge in the Purcell Mountains of southeastern B.C. (A 2 1/2-story, lodge with hut custodian and cook on site, plus a separate bathhouse complete with wood-burning sauna.) Leave Vancouver March 11, 2016 by car and spend Friday night in Nelson. Meet in Nelson area at 8 AM on Sat morning to helicopter to the lodge from Nelson, & Kaslo. Objectives will depend upon the weather and experience and capabilities of participants. This area is renowned for great back-country skiing!

Required Items to Bring:
AT or Telemark skis, Beacon, shovel, probes, compass, GPS if available, maps. Avalanche AST 1 or equivalent is required.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:8-9 hour drive from Vancouver to Nelson, B.C. Heli pads are in Nelson area and Kaslo, B.C. and are 2WD accessible.

Member Cost:$1,770.00/Person
Cost Includes:Estimated Cost ($1770 CAD) includes helicopter, cabin and catered food at the lodge. Does NOT include food or lodging costs for Fri, March 11th.
Make a Payment:Although there is a cost for this event, you do not pay through the ACC VA. Please review the event details carefully for information about how/where to make your payment.
