Itinerary:
AST 1 Plus Course (Avalanche Safety Training for Skiers and Boarders) Jan 20,23&24

Canada West Mountain School has offered ACC discount for a group training of the AST1 Plus Course (2.5 day Course)

The regular rate is $275 plus tax. As a group of 8 the total will be $205 plus tax per person.

This course consists of a theory class on the evening of Wednesday Jan 20th at the Canada West school in North Van followed by
Day 1 of training on Mount Seymour on Sat Jan 23rd
Day 2 of training on Whistler mountain on Sun Jan 24th

Please note the cost of the whistler lift ticket ($56) is not included. Also currently there is insufficient snow on mount seymour. If this is still the case by Jan 23rd which is rare, the first day of the course will take place on Whistler and another $56 lift ticket will be required

Payment is required to be confirmed on this training. If you need to cancel, a full refund will be made as long as we can replace your space on the training. The group size will be 8 people with one certified instructor from Canada West Mountain School..

Participants require backcountry/slackcountry skis and skins, splitboard with skins, or snowboard and snowshoes. (only snowshoes is not an option).

The course is limited to 8 participants and those who pay the course fees first get in.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $28.75 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Friday, November 16, 2018). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.
