Itinerary:
Come join us for a day of digging in the dirt on the Howe Sound Crest Trail! The mission for the day is to do maintenance work on the southern portion of the trail, which has relatively easy access from the Cypress Hill Ski Area. We'll mainly be digging ditches and culverts to route water off the trail for the winter. It's physical and dirty work, but fun and definitely rewarding. It's a bit like being a kid in a sandbox all over again! BC Parks needs the volunteer power to help keep our trails in the Sea-to-Sky in good order. Come on out! Please try to sign up by Oct 12 so that we have a good idea of numbers and can plan appropriately. Meet at the Black Mountain Lodge on Cypress Mountain at 10am. We'll aim to work until about 4pm, but can finish earlier or later, depending how the group feels.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- waterproof boots (gumboots if you want - we're only walking a few km's and it might rain) - lunch, hot drinks - warm/dry clothing - work gloves if you have them - shovel or pulaski if you have your own (not required)
