Hike into Wedgemount Lake on Saturday and set up camp. It's a long slog uphill - pack light! - but worth it for the destination. Set up camp with an option for some late afternoon exploring or scrambling. On Sunday, up early to scramble to the summit of Weart. Cross fingers for clear weather. Take in the views. I don't know if there will be snow on the approach; if there is, the scramble will be very different; bring an ice ax if you have one.

Required Items to Bring:
You know what you need to bring to camp, eat, stay warm, etc.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Ice axe, climbing helmet (may be necessary to reach Weart) A couple reminders (based on my own recent experience): - Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for good coverage! - Lots of fuel (to melt snow) or a method of water purification - Delicious snacks
