Three of us are doing an overnight trip to Garibaldi via Brohm ridge (ski tour).
Saturday mid-morning drive up towards the Black Tusk Ski Club chalet…as far as we can ……camp as near to the top of Brohm ridge as we can easily get in the rest of the day…..(overnight; tent sleeping bag stove or bivi gear required).
We might be able to drive up all the way to the gate and then hike for a while.

Sunday up early (soft snow) head to Garibaldi & back & home)…..This is moderate trip….requiring glacier travel; experience, judgement, skill and equipment, (harness, prussic, ice axe, crampons), as well as avi kit…(beacon, probe shovel).

3 of us are already a self-contained unit…..and other self-contained unit(s) (of 2-3 experienced members will be considered)…. The point is… at this late date, we just don’t have the time to coordinate drivers, tents and cooking partners. However, if you are a party or find members on the wait list to partner with it could be good to have you come along.

Also see page 55 of "Exploring The Coast Mountains On Skis" third edition by John Baldwin for route info.
Snow has been pretty sparse this year… crevasse conditions will definitely need close attention throughout the trip.
Last time I did this (’71) via Brohm, a horde of 21 VOC’ers made it to the summit…..not sayin’ it’s an easy weasy trip…..(or that we’re all that young)…… If you have question contact via email or phone. Details on iCal
