Itinerary:
Carpool to Diamond Head Parking lot and skin up to red heather. Depending on group consensus ski the surrounding area before heading up to Elfin Lakes shelter. Spend the night at the shelter and ski out the following day. Opportunity for more skiing on the 2nd day. Return to cars around 3pm and back home around 5pm Sunday.

Required Items to Bring:
Overnight camping gear (sleeping bag, tent, etc.) Skis or split board, skins, boots, poles, first aid kit, extra warm layers, food, 2L water.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Avalanche transceiver, Probe, Shovel.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $32.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Monday, November 12, 2018). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.

Notes:
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
