  • Calculating Mechanical Advantages
  • Using Pulleys Effectively
  • Rope & Crevasse Rescue
Note: This course will be moved inside in the event of heavy rainfall, but come dressed and prepared to be outside for an hour or so, and don't forget a headlamp!

  • Harness
  • 2 x Locking Carabiners
  • 2 x Non-Locking Carabiners
  • 2 x Prusik Cord (Short & Long)
  • 1-2 Slings
  • Optional: 2 x Pulleys

The club has lots of extra climbing gear, but you are on your own for staying warm!

If you have an 8mm rope or similar glacier rope, bring that also. (It's always best to practice with the gear you will later be using).
