Itinerary:
Meet at the Smoke Bluffs parking lot in Squamish for 1200h. We will review crevasse rescue using a drop loop system, and rope ascending if time allows. Come prepared to spend the day outside in all weather conditions. Review knots and haul system prior to attending.

Required Items to Bring:
-Belay/rappel device “ATC” or similar -4 carabiners -4 locking carabiners -2 - 5m x 7mm accessory cord -1 – 1.75m x 6mm (or 7mm) accessory cord -1 - 60cm length sewn sling -1 - 120cm length sewn sling -1 - 260cm length sewn sling -Optional-lightweight mechanical ascender (Rope man...) -30-60m climbing rope -note book -snacks/water -warm and dry clothing

Notes:
This is not an intro to crevasse rescue, participants should have some experience setting up haul systems.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
