Friday: We will drive down to the Baker ski area on Friday morning and spend the day hiking, drawing and/or painting. We will get into the lodge around 5-6pm in time to make dinner together. Saturday and Sunday: We'll break up into small groups and do a variety of day hikes to scenic spots for drawing and painting. The locations can be as little as 5 minutes to as much as 2 hours from the lodge, as people prefer. We'll drive home Sunday afternoon.

Required Items to Bring:
Crossing the border: PASSPORT For the lodge: Sleeping bag and pillow, head lamp, small towel, toiletries, clean lodge shoes. For day hikes: Lunch for Friday, water bottle, daypack, boots, sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen, warm clothing, rain/wind gear. For art activities: Sketchbook and pencils/pens, canvases/paper and paints, portable stool and easel (optional).

Event Directions:Drive Hwy 1 east from Vancouver. Take Sumas Exit and follow signs through Kendall and Maple Falls to the Mount Baker ski area.

- Registration is not complete until you've signed up and, if required, paid in full to the Alpine Club of Canada Vancouver Section, either through PayPal, or sent to the Event Leader.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
