Car camp Friday Night. Alpine start(early) Saturday. Hike through open forest into drainage and up onto glacier, and make our way up to peak. Head back down to vehicles and drive home Saturday evening(could be late night home arrival depending on hike in factors). This trip will only go in fair or better/stable weather conditions/forecast. Final decision will be made Thursday night.

Required Items to Bring:
Mountaineering gear - shared: rope, pickets - individual: Harness, Helmet, Biners (2 Locking & 2 non locking), belay device/biner, pulley, Ice axe(leashed), 2 double length (120m) sling, prusik cords 2 short and 2 long ones, Mountaineering boots and crampons that fit those boots, headlamp(extra batteries). ***Snowshoes are strongly recommended*** Camping gear(depends if you sleep IN your car or outside) - shared: tent/pot/stove(unless you pre-do meals and bring extra water) - individual: sleeping bag/pad. Clothing: bring appropriate for all weather conditions in an Alpine environment. Food:(Dinner Friday we will grab on route or bring), 1 Breakfast, 1 lunch, snacks, water/container, bring extra food to have when we get back to vehicles. *** Please email me what "shared" gear you have, and if in need of any gear. ***Awesome Option - Crazy carpet or ski pants to slide back down drainage to forest. This will significantly shorten hike down. We did in our boots last time, but all I thought while sliding was "It would be awesome to have a crazy carpet right now"***
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

It would be nice to have a few higher clearance vehicles(suv, truck, etc) to move everyone from camp to preferred forest start, rather than walk way up logging road. Will significantly cut down time and save energy. Let me know please. Main road is car accessible, but dirt road. ***Also*** hike up to glacier will take at minimum an intermediate fitness level and moderate skill, but on glacier to peak will have some exposure near peak and will require intermediate skills or better.
