Itinerary:
Week-long guided and catered backcountry ski trip based out of Burnie Chalet in Smithers, BC. The area is known for its powder skiing and spectacular ski mountaineering. Travel to Smithers by either a 15 hour drive or a 2 hour flight, arriving Thursday night. Helicopter into Burnie Chalet on Friday morning and have guided ski trips each day out of the chalet for the week. Helicopter back to Smithers the following Friday at noon for a flight or drive home Friday night. For more info see http://www.bearmountaineering.ca Spots in the Lodge are already selling out, if you are interested get your deposit in sooner rather than later. Full Cost is $2250+gst. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot.

Required Items to Bring:
AT or Telemark skis, Beacon, shovel, probes, compass, GPS if available, maps.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Travel to Smithers either 15 hour drive or a 2 hour flight, arriving Thursday night.

Notes:
This area is known for its powder skiing and amazing terrain. This trip will be fully guided and catered. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. Cost is $2250+gst
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Cost Includes:Helicopter access to lodge, guiding, accommodations and food. Travel to Smithers and accommodations in Smithers before/after the trip us not included.
