This is a SNOW JAM event and preference will be given to those who are staying at the Coquihalla Lakes Lodge for the weekend. Leave Chevron Station Boundary Rd & Dominion @ 6:00am. Meet @ Zopkios Pullout for 8:30 start Skin up to Iago Peak, re-assess the conditions of the terrain, snow and participants - if all good, continue another 1km along the ridge to Great Bear Peak. Return to Iago and from there ski North-facing runs all the way to the bottom. Elevation gain: 520m, total distance 10-12km. Detailed description in John Baldwin's book "Exploring the Coast Mountains on skis", pg 199.

Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver, probe, shovel AND the ability to use them efficiently! Appropriate clothing, food+water for the day.

Good mood and positive energy :-) If, you've tried everything else in the may want to join us for this initial SNOWJAM warm up Event to be followed by partying around bonfire later

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $3.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Sunday, October 13, 2019). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use.  Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.

This is intended to be a Beginner & Snowshoe (as long as we have at least 2 snowshoers) friendly event....
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.
