Itinerary:
Canada West Mountain School is offering a custom AST1-Plus course to the ACC-Vancouver Section. The course cost, exclusive of PST (5%)is $270 and additional $20 plus PST if you need to rent an avi kit and another $49 for a Whistler/Blackcomb Backcountry Day Pass if you need one). Dates are as follows: December 11 : Evening theory session held in Vancouver; December 14: Field day to be held in Mount Seymour back-country; December 15: Field day to be held in Whistler back-country. Required Items to Bring:
Refer to their website for a complete list. ** Note that safety gear is required (shovel, probe and transponder). If you require rentals, MEC will provide them for free when you show them proof of this course.
