Itinerary:
Think scramble season is over? Think again. Lace up your boots and hoof it up to Wedgemount Lake with me over the Thanksgiving weekend. The agenda is flexible and depends on conditions, but the rough plan is as follows: Hike in to the lake on Saturday morning, set up camp, and then ascend Mt Cook. On Sunday we'll rise early and attempt Mt Weart; if the conditions are unpleasant we will then pack up and head back down to the vehicles. If things look good, and there is a surplus of piss & vinegar, we'll stay another night and try to bag Parkhurst & Rethel the next day before heading out. 4 peaks. 3 days. NEVER SAY DIE.
