Rated one of the best hikes in the world by numerous guide books, Berg Lake is definitely a highlight trip for many. First day: 8 hr drive from Vancouver; 7 km hike with full pack to Kinney Lake. Second day: 12 km with full pack pass Emperor Falls to Berg Lake campsite + side excursion? Third day: 20-22 km up to Snowbird Pass with light pack to walk amongst the many glaciers. Fourth day: 19 km hike out. Sightsee at Jasper or Valemount. B&B or motel for the night. Fifth day: Drive back to Vancouver.

Camping gear. Provisions for 4 days and 3 nights.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Crampons or spikes for the glaciers up at Snowbird Pass.
