|Thursday evening, drive to Hood River OR.
Friday, pick up permit at Trout Lake WA ranger station
and hike/ski to base camp on south side of Mt. Adams (Lunch
Counter or higher).
Saturday, ski ascent to summit and descent to camp or cars;
descent route depends on group
Sunday, return to Vancouver

mountaineering gear (including crampons, ice ax).

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $300.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.25, effective Saturday, October 19, 2019). This is based on the current provincial government rate for private vehicle use. Please pay your share of the cost to the carpool driver.
Classic volcano ski descent. The normal south ridge access route is
now open. The road is open to the trailhead, and skiing should
starts ~ 2km up the trail.
If weather is poor, we may try an alternative destination.|
