Attendee Screening: Attendees are Pre-Screened - Trip Leader will review your background and may contact you before accepting you on the trip.

Itinerary:
This self- guided camp will feature 7 nights at the Kokanee Glacier Cabin. (A large 3-story, comfortable cabin with indoor shower & toilets, plus a hut custodian residing in a separate part of the cabin.) Leave Vancouver Mar 8, 2013 by car and spend Friday night in Nelson. Helicopter into Kokanee Glacier cabin on Saturday March 9th from Nelson. Objectives will depend upon the weather and experience and capabilities of participants. This area is world renowned for fantastic back country skiing!

Required Items to Bring:
AT or Telemark skis, beacon, shovel, probes, compass, GPS if available. Avalanche AST 1 or equivalent required. Check the equipment list for Back Country skiing on ACC iCal. Food for the week, to be decided*. *(Pre-prepared food possibly organized.)

Notes:
This trip is fully booked at this time, with several people on the waiting list.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Member Cost:$900.00/Person
Cost Includes:Helicopter and hut costs. Food and other costs (SAT phone...) to be decided later.
Make a Payment:Although there is a cost for this event, you do not pay through the ACC VA. Please review the event details carefully for information about how/where to make your payment.
