Heli into Trophy Hut, Wells Gray Park, 6 nights in Trophy Hut

Required Items to Bring:
All the usual backcountry ski/safety/hut gear. Sheets/pillowcase. Potluck dinner with one other. Your own lunches and snacks

Event Directions:Clearwater is 5 hours drive from Vancouver, on Highway 5 nrth of Kamploops. Heli pad is 2WD accesible.

Notes:
Skiing ability required- Black ungroomed run with day pack. It does not have to be pretty but you have to be able to handle yourself on Black runs. This is due to the camp being guided. Blue and black and double black diamond slopes if avi conditions permit. Blue diamond slopes in trees. We may be skiing in one or two groups depending on ability, so ability to ski double black diamond slopes is not mandatory Ability to get through treed blue slope with half full pack on ski out The ski out is 3 hours with the first hour in trees. Good fitness to yo-yo ski 5 full days. (weather/stability dependent) Hut includes Full kitchen, sauna, Solar lighting. Propane heating You may choose to have a rest day/s. Half day possible if we are travelling near the hut. You will be crying for Mama at the end of this week- promise This is a week of great snow and the best lines. Ian, out owner/ guide will have us skking the best snow and the best lines all week. breakfast provided. Provide your own lunch/snacks. Provide dinner with one other participant
- Registration is not complete until you've signed up and, if required, paid in full to the Alpine Club of Canada Vancouver Section, either through PayPal, or sent to the Event Leader.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in ACC VA events.

Cost Includes:1 night at Wells Gray Inn 6 nights in Trophy Hut. One way Heli ride. Breakfasts in Trophy Hut 2 guides All taxes Good company and good food Does NOT include Carpooling costs or breakfast at Wells Gray Inn on Sat Feb 7.

*Note: Deposit is $100 cheque post dated dec 31, 2009. Balance cheque due Dec 31, 2009 Refund of $100 deposit if cancellation before Dec 31, 2009. Full refund if replacement found. Cancellation after dec 31, 2009, refund considered on a case by case basis by ACC exec (if replacement cannot be found)
