Canada West Mountain School is offering a custom AST1-Plus course to the ACC-Vancouver. The course cost, inclusive of HST, is $270 ($220 if you have a Whistler lift pass). The dates are as follows: January 9: Evening theory session held in Vancouver; January 12: Field day to be held in Mount Seymour back-country; January 13: Field day to be held in Whistler back-country. You must be, minimum, an intermediate level skier or split boarder. For complete details, please refer to their website:

Refer to their website for a complete list. ** Note that safety gear is required (shovel, probe and transponder). If you require rentals, MEC will provide them for free when you show them proof of this course.
