Alpine Club of Canada Vancouver Section - Etiquette Guidelines

ETIQUETTE GUIDELINES FOR EVENT PARTICIPANTS
                                                                       
The following guidelines are provided to ensure that all participants have an enjoyable experience on ACC Vancouver Section events.

Attendance

Members who sign up for an event are expected to attend once registered, and to remove their name from the registered list if they can't attend as soon as they know they are unable to attend. This opens up a spot for people who are on the waiting list.

Guests

Guests are welcome at events where indicated by the leader. Guests must be accompanied by a member. After attending 3 events, guests are expected to join The Alpine Club of Canada and the Vancouver Section.

Cancellation Clause for Paid Events

Participants who register for paid events must pay in advance by the deadline indicated. A portion of the fee will be retained for late cancellation with reasonable notification. All of the fee will be retained for a last minute cancellation unless another person can be found to take the place of the cancelled participant.
