Solo mission . . . The route description in Matt Gunn's book is accurate, however, the access has changed slightly. The waterbars seem to have been filled in with rock, so most vehicles should be able to make it most of the way - there was a Jetta a few hundred meters from the trailhead. Also, the forest at the end of the road has been logged, and the road extended, so don't go all the way to the end of the road! You have to hike down through the cutblock into a stand of old growth conifer to link up with the trail. The route was pretty well marked with cairns, and is spectacular! The final ridge scramble was excellent, with great quality rock on the crux pitch.
